Portrait ProjectWhy don't you just photograph your friends? Put the clothes on your friends, put them on the people you admire and find intelligent. Bruce Weber The purpose of the Portrait Project is for me to take pictures of people, the familiar (family or friends) and the unfamiliar (random folks). This started out as an exercise in strengthening a skill (photographing people) that I didn't think I necessarily possessed. But the more I practice, the more interested I am in this aspect of photography. I can't deny that when people look at my work they are always drawn to photographs of people, in particular, random folks I've shot during my travels. So why not improve upon my work?
